New beginnings

Ok, so I have recently signed up to two new things!

The first was Twitter (if you'd like to follow me I'm @lauraslovelies) which I had always put off joining before. I love Facebook, and could never really understand why Twitter would be useful to me.....until I started this business and realised what an amazing marketing tool it could be.  It offers me the ability to tell my followers all about the things I'm making, post links to my sites, and let people know when I'm baking cookies :) So please follow me, but be gentle, I'm still getting used to it!

The second, and much more daunting, was the July Jesters.  Basically, for those of you who aren't aware, there's a group of people on Folksy who challenge themselves each month to list at least one new item every day, in order to boost sales, and the variation of things that are on Folksy.  I'm really looking forward to it, I think it will give me the push that I need after a long day at work to carry on making things and trying out new stuff.

So, here's my first July Jesters listing - take a look, let me know what you think (it's also the first time I've used my macro filters and light tent - I think it makes the pictures look much more professional, what do you think?) and if you like the look of it feel free to buy it :)
